The IMA is an institute, include in the Escuela de Matemáticas of the Universidad Sergio Arboleda, it is charge of management, diffusion of knowledge and research in Pure and Applied Mathematics and Meta-Mathematics.

IMA operates in Bogotá and Santa Marta, Colombia

The IMA is compromise with the research development in Pure and Applied Mathematics and Meta-Mathematics, and with the contribution of scientific advances.

The IMA is a scientific research center created to be an international recognized institution due to the quality of its research and the interaction with the mathematical scientific community.
