Research
The research in the IMA is realised from three different lines
of research:

Mathematics:
The objective of this line is to obtain theoretical results
of international impact in the area of the mathematics. One
hopes that these results can be applied to diverse areas of
the knowledge.

Applied Mathematics:
The line of applied research in mathematical looks for to
use mathematical as the tool for the study of physical,
biological, social, economic and financial models.

Meta-Mathematics:
In this line we are wanted to develop projects of research
related to different aspects that it has to do with the
operation of the academic community in mathematics. To this
line research related to history of the Mathematics belong,
Philosophy of the Mathematics, Mathematical Education,
social Psychology of the Mathematics, Spreading of the
Mathematics and relations between Mathematics and Arts.
